The World Cup is a golden trophy that is awarded to the winners of the FIFA World Cup tournament, which take place every four years. The first taking place in Uruguay in 1930.

There has been two trophies since the inception of the tournament, the first being the Jules Rimet Trophy, named in honour of a former president. This trophy was stolen in 1966, England, but was found a week later in the bottom of someone's garden by Pickles the dog. The trophy was 'retired' in 1970 with Brazil winning it outright. It was stolen again in 1983 and never recovered. The new trophy is aptly named the FIFA World Cup Trophy and depicts two human figures holding up the World.

The current trophy stands at 36.8cm high and weighs 6.1kg
