Hungary have won won three Olympic titles and finished runners-up in the 1938 and 1954 FIFA World Cups, and third in the 1964 UEFA European Football Championship. They revolutionised the sport in the 50's, laying way to total football and dominating international football. They went for 31 games unbeaten, spanning 4 years. Their top scorer was their Striker Ferenc Puskás who was also the top scorer of the 20th century. He is also the man the newest FIFA award is named after. The Puskás Award is for the most beautiful goal of the year. The match between Hungary and Austria in 1902 was the first international match played between two non-British European teams.
